Papua Villa
Papua people lives in custom home or Honai. That is a typical house inhabited by a tribe of Papua Dani, traditional house of the mountainous community in central Papua. The house has a round shape and is usually occupied by 5-10 people. Made from planks of rough wood with the sago palm roof-top, a Honai is approximately 4-6 meters in diameter and 5-7 meters in height. Nias Villa
The people of Nias build omo sebua houses on massive ironwood pillars with towering roofs. The Omo sebua is a traditional house style, from Nias island, Indonesia, built only for the houses of village chiefs situated in the centre of a village. The houses' sole access is through a narrow staircase with a small trap door above. The steeply pitched roofs can reach 16 meters (50 feet) in height, gables project dramatically at both the front and rear, providing both shade and shelter from tropical rains, and giving the building a hooded, towering appearance. Thus the type of roof enclosing the volume dictates the shape of the gable. Minang Villa
The houses have dramatic curved roof structure with multi-tiered, upswept gables. According to Minangkabau tradition, the roof shapes was meant to mimic the horn of buffalo. Shuttered windows are built into walls incised with profuse painted floral carvings. The term rumah gadang usually refers to the larger communal houses; however, smaller single residences share many of its architectural elements.

Archipelago Heritage Villas, 5 unique and architecturally different villas (Bali, Minang, Nias, Papua, Toraja) are situated on the East coast of the island in the Ketewel area on the way between Sanur and Ubud. This area combines peaceful living with the conveniences of city living within easy reach, running along the coast in the south of the Gianyar Regency, only 10 minutes East of Sanur, just a 30 minute drive to Ubud and 25 minutes to the airport.
Located just a few kilometers up the coastline from Sanur, this wonderful piece of gently sloping land is the ideal setting for commercial and private villas. Ketewel accesses a new bypass that enables travelers to explore Bali with ease as well as several convenient, well-paved roads leading to the major attractions of Bali: Jalan Profesor Doktor Ida Bagus Mantra leads right to Sanur, or continue to Kuta and Nusa Dua by following Jalan Ngurah Rai By Pass. To get to Ubud, you can easily take Jalan Batu Bulan, Raya Sukawati, and continue directly into Ubud from Desa Mas.
